Tras una larga trayectoria profesional, Tom y Mirian decidieron unir sus conocimientos y emprender un proyecto juntos abriendo el restaurante Bistro Selene en el año 2014.

We dropped in without a reservation but were warmly welcomed. We both took the menu. My cod dish was absolutely top class and probably the best cooked cod I have ever tasted. My wife took the Thai red chicken curry which was also delicious. Very comfortable for dining and well decorated dining room with good ambience. Waiting staff very friendly and professional and created a very welcoming atmosphere. Unlike the previous review comment, the waiter explained clearly the options for menu del dia with the small extra charge for cod or lamb. We hope to return. Highly recommended.
Excellent meal.They make the “cheat” of suggesting changes to the menu. A way to multiply the bill.Unpleasant final surprise.A shame.
Returned this year , menu de dia slightly changed for the better. Well cooked and presented and good portions. Well done to the proprietors.

A quiet and very beautiful place, located in an old riu rau tastefully restored. The food is spectacular, the menu they offer is great. Fast, attentive service.
Always reliable. We’ve been here a few times now and always return when we are in the area as we know we will get a decent meal. Great fixed price menu at €25 for three courses. The service is always cheery if a little long, but if you are in good company it didn’t really matter as you can have a nice long lunch.

Very good restaurant I recommend it to the French as well as to those who like good cuisine. An advantage for people who do not speak Spanish, the waiter speaks French very well

2023-11 Had lunch with 4. Two of us took the 3-course lunch menu which now costs €25.40 but now has 3 beautifully presented tapas as a starter, a choice of 3 preparations as a main course and a whole range of desserts presented at the table after the meal.The others chose from the menu; a “capucino de gambas” (bisque) @10.50€ and a “paletilla de cordero” (lamb shoulder) @21.90€. Both dishes were sublime! The tastiest shellfish soup I ever had and a (milk) lamb that melted in the mouth with the right Arabic touch in the accompanying sauce.The red Monastrell from the wine list was also a hit.A card that offers great value for money and is therefore highly recommended.2021-10 Lunch menu top again @16.90€, this time photos taken... Visited before, menu always top.2017-11 Top 3-course lunch menu @€15.90. Friendly service. Recommended!

We were in the Jalon Valley showing friends around and looking for somewhere for lunch. This was an excellent find. We all had the set lunch menu which I think was just under 25 euros. There were three set starters/ appetizers and then a choice of three mains. There was also a desert included. The quality and portions were very good and service excellent.
It's fantastic food and service can't be better can really be recommended. It is difficult to give suggestions for improvement
We also had dinner here in May and it was really great value for money. The price for a three-course menu increased by 25%, but that was only noticeable in the price. I was really disappointed this time. Fries were hard, you could barely cut them with your fork. The jar of mushroom sauce was the same amount as a portion of mayonnaise, you couldn't see it...

I personally didn't like the food, but others did.You should only buy the eight-course menu if you really like fishy food and you like it a lot.

I went to eat today and the waitress gave me a bad look asking if I could sit down to eat when the place was completely empty. I am a salesperson from the area and I went with a good presence but I did not like the manners, and to make matters worse it took them 20 minutes to serve me the main course, the starters very quickly but later they forgot about me. The food is good and the presentation too.
During our holiday at Lliber, we visited Selene. Sitting outside we enjoyed the staff and the food. This is quality, very good prepared food and the staff do their utmost best to make it a visit you never forget.
We had gone on other occasions years ago and it was nothing like what it is now: the waiters lack experience, they don't have a gluten-free menu, the price of the menu has gone from 19 to 36 euros and the whole table has to order a menu or all letter Some salads to share and a second without dessert 42 euros per head. Total disappointment...we won't be back.

Refined food with exquisite flavour combinations, beautifully served in a classy environment. Portion sizes aren't too big, which allowed us to enjoy three courses without feeling overstuffed. Bonus points for child friendly service.10/10 our taste, would recommend anytime!
Exceeded my expectations. Wonderful dining experience. The staff were well trained and friendly, food was superb couldn't fault it, great fine dining at reasonable prices and the house red wine was one of the best I've had. Nice modern decor very welcoming restaurant.

Service good, ambiance good but my companion's pork was undercooked, it was sent back for more cooking but it returned still undercooked. Pork is a meat which must be well cooked as everyone knows! The other thing is that the portions served were very small although the plates were quite large
